As an Accounting Administrator, your primary responsibilities will include the following:

1. Accounts Receivable: You will be responsible for invoicing clients, following up on outstanding payments, and ensuring timely collection of funds. This involves reconciling accounts, sending reminders, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise.

2. Accounts Payable: You will be tasked with processing and approving vendor invoices, ensuring accurate and timely payments. This includes verifying documentation, coding expenses, and liaising with suppliers to address any inquiries or concerns.

3. Bank Reconciliations: You will be responsible for reconciling the company's bank statements on a regular basis, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and accounted for.

4. General Accounting Support: You will assist with various accounting tasks, such as maintaining the general ledger, preparing financial reports, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.

5. Data Entry and Record Keeping: You will be responsible for accurately inputting financial data into the accounting system, as well as maintaining organized physical and electronic records.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in financial data entry and record-keeping.
• Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as QuickBooks or Xero.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
